New books available

June saw the very successful launch of FONFA new guide “A guide to the New Forest Airfields” This was the product of an enormous amount of work from our Honorary Secretary  Dave Connor and FONFA life member Ben Mason. Credit

 Also selling well was the book written and compiled by our librarian Kelvin Holmes Flight Lieutenant RAF (Rtd) Fighter Controller 1968-1977 about Sopley Radar. “Royal Air Force Sopley  A Radar Station in War & Peace 1940-1974”.

Both are available to purchase at the centre and at most of the events FONFA attend. The funds generated by the sale of these books, other merchandise and a raffle help maintain the centre and the memorial.
