2026 Annual Service
Our 2026 Annual Commemoration Service took place once again in glorious weather (I am sure our Padre put in a good word) on Saturday 5th September.
Once again, Padre Charles Lewis conducted a respectful service with a reading by Cllr Maggie Fiddler, Mayor of Christchurch.
Fine speeches were made by Cllr Lesley Dedman, Chair of BCP Council, and Colonel David Holmes RCAF.
Visiting dignitaries included Lady Edwina Grosvenor DL representing HM Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire and Sir Christoper Chope MP.
The event was also attended by 10 Regional Town and Parish Council members.
Military representatives attended from the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Poland and the Czech & Slovak Republics.
Also attending were the:
Royal Air Force Association Christchurch and Wimborne.
The Lymington, Lyndhurst, Milford on Sea, New Milton and Ringwood branches of the Royal British Legion.
