2025 Annual Memorial
Our 2025 Annual Commemoration Service took place in glorious weather on Saturday 6th September. A fine speech was made by Mr Oliver Crosthwaite-Eyre Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, which included reminding us of how many people, learned to drive on the Airfields of the New Forest. The event was also attended by our patron Lady Montagu ,2 of our local MPs and 9 Regional Town and Parish Council members.
Military representatives attended from the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands and the Slovak Republic.
10 UK Service Organisations were represented including the Royal British Legion, the Royal Air Force Association, Glider Pilot Regiment and the Royal Observer Corp Association.
